Mobilis project in Anderlecht

In Anderlecht, Belgium, the new Mobilis car showroom of the automobile distributor D'Ieteren is currently under construction. Using climate- and energy-neutral construction methods, the building will be able to accommodate both commercial and changing activities in the long term, making it fully future-proof.

The contract for the construction of this special project was awarded to the Alheembouw team, who chose to work with Scafom-rux subsidiary and construction specialist SAFE for the supply, design, assembly and dismantling of the required scaffolding systems.

Some of the challenges that Alheembouw faced together with SAFE were

• Large quantities of concrete poured on site
• Only 200 working days to completely assemble and dismantle all shoring and formwork systems

• 130.000 m3 of scaffolding material to achieve support heights of up to 20 metres
