Ready for BAUMA 2022?
This year it is finally time again: BAUMA opens its doors in Munich from 24th to 30th October 2022. With 3,700 exhibitors on an exhibition area of over 600,000 m2, it is not only the largest trade fair in the construction industry, but also the largest trade fair in the world. And it is still growing. Everything you need to know about your visit to BAUMA and valuable tips for your stay in Munich can be found here.
Over 600,000 visitors from more than 200 countries are expected to flock through the Munich exhibition halls again this year. It's clear that nowhere else will you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with so many colleagues from the global construction and scaffolding industry. And where construction equipment is exhibited, scaffolding is not far away. It is quite clear that Scafom-rux will again be represented with its own stand in 2022.
It is for good reason that BAUMA is considered THE leading trade fair for construction and scaffolding technology. From high-performance construction machines to innovations in safety to digital solutions – everyone gets their money’s worth. You can find a foretaste of what to expect at BAUMA and why it's worth a visit here. For more impressions of BAUMA, watch this video.
Hall B3 - the meeting place for scaffolders and scaffolding manufacturers
Hall B3 is a must for everyone involved in scaffolding. Here you will find everything about scaffolding and scaffolding technology. You can also visit our Scafom-rux stand here. Here you can expect, for example, updates on our TRBS 2121 products as well as new, optimised solutions for scaffolding.
You can find your way around the fair using the free BAUMA app for Android and iPhones. Here you will find navigation through the halls, the list of exhibitors and an overview of all the highlights and supporting programmes.

Accommodation, transport and leisure time tips for your stay in Munich
If you want to visit BAUMA and are not exactly from the greater Munich area, you will of course also need an accommodation.
There are several hotels directly at the exhibition centre or in the Trudering-Riem urban area, where the trade fair is located. However, as for trade fair time anywhere, accommodation is quickly booked up. If you want to save money, you should also look for a hotel, a b&b or guesthouses in the wider Munich area. Since Munich's public transport system is well developed, the exhibition grounds can also be reached from nearby city areas such as Bogenhausen or Berg am Laim or even neighbouring villages in fair time.
The best way to get from A to B is by bus and train. With the underground, you can easily escape Munich's notorious rush-hour traffic and the eternal search for a parking space. For example, you can reach Messe München, where BAUMA is located, from Munich Central Station with the U2 subway line. With this route planner, you can find the quickest way from your accommodation to BAUMA. Simply enter "Messestadt Ost" or "Messestadt West" as your destination - depending on which halls you want to start at. Just take a look at the hall overview. Trade fair München is located in the eastern part of the city:
Even after the gates of BAUMA close at 6 pm each day, Munich is definitely worth the trip. Beyond an after-work beer in one of Bavaria’s famous Biergartens or dinner with colleagues in Munich’s varied restaurant scene, there's plenty to see and experience in Bavaria's capital. So if your feet aren't too tired after walking through the exhibition halls of Bauma and you still want to roam around Munich before heading to the hotel, here are some good tips and must-sees:
